Happy Final Pay Day;

It was not a "free deal". It matters not. You've been clear trying to reply "it's not my money what do I care?" type response. Plus claiming @Eggs has posted things he hasn't

It's been a disaster of a signing that should never ever have been made

It was clear that there were issues with him at Spurs

Yet Bill Kenwright decided it would be good, as it boosted him personally making signings as a self professed "player trading" "expert".
We paid nothing up front and have only paid wages despite what you claim.

I stated eggs had started threads focused on one person. Which he has, as he started this thread (possibly to bait responses knowing the division around Dele), but he also stated that he started another thread which started with Dele as well, his own words.

In terms of “it’s not my money, I don’t care”, I do care, as I want the club to be run well, but you have been pointing out that it’s a business and not a charity. Yes, it’s a business owned by Moshiri and he chooses how the money is spent.

We, as fans, are stakeholders but we don’t decide how the money is spent, whether it *was* our money until we paid it across or not. I don’t buy tickets to a gig and then expect the musician to play a set list of my choosing even though it was my money.

If they cancelled the gig though you would want a refund

What a ridiculous comparison. We are talking about a sports team here not a music festival. We as stakeholders DO have a say in how it is spent as a sports club.

You've been very argumentative in this thread making spurious comparisons to taxes and then making spurious arguments to @Eggs. I could tell you were going to start doing that when you started putting "ha ha" responses to my posts.

You aren’t forced to put your money into it. It’s not taxes.

As you said, it’s a business. And it’s Moshiris business and his money ultimately that pays the wages.

It is very clear why people can have objections to how OUR MONEY has been mis spent. These are outlined below.

We've had consecutive years of relegation battles where £5.2 million of wages or more are not on the pitch and we are getting PSR 8 point deductions from the league for said spending. It's not hard why people like @Eggs would have issues as raised in this thread!
Dele Alli (by implication) being signed was used to try and laud Bill Kenwright and the job he was doing in the "letter from Farhad Moshiri" 21 January 2022 which was clearly written by people within EFC in the EFC communications team

It is absolutely disgraceful what has gone on and the money that has been wasted due to downright incompetence. Bill Kenwright and Co. using club media channels for propaganda too

That has to stop and @Eggs, Dele Alli is a symbol of the catastrophic running of the club by Bill Kenwright and Co.

Bill is gone. You need to let it go,

Not sure this thread is going to attract the viewers/members/posters the boss man wants.

On Dele - a deal that worked out for no-one, except perhaps Spurs. Dele clearly has his issues which are the source of his decline as a player. He probably did no doubt want a fresh start, but it's not happened.

The best thing for him is that gets the support he needs. For us? Well, huge lesson learned. Don't get into these sorts of deals.

We have no control how its spent, it has nothing to do with us.

For time and memorial Everton fans have complained about players signed and sold

Look at Harry Catterick selling Alex Young, @Goat

It is our business and it is our money. So we do have a say if the hierarchy in the club mismanage the club. It was ever the case.

If there's anything about him should play for Free next season if fit ...owes club big time

Cant see that happening Leylo.

Wish him well of course but we got docked 10pts last season and can't afford contracts for players not playing. Simple as that

Hopefully he battles his demons and can resume his playing career (likely at lower league level).

No chance. His minions are still around as are Tony "Bill Kenwright saved the club" Bellew, proclaiming such things on national television

BK will always have his enablers both in the national media like Simon Jordan, Big Tony Bellew and on social media/forums like Steve Wigan, Malfosse etc.

All the best Dele.
