Not going to lie, when I watched him for the U21 I always liked him but was never convinced he would make the first team.
It will be Alex Pritchard next season. The RS tried to acquire his services before the start of this season but we gave him an improved contract.

Aye, Hazard's in a decent team. The fact that Kane is keeping Spurs in the hunt with that back 4 is a bit miraculous.

I stand by it though. This time next season he'll be struggling to get to his 5th goal!
...Kane will rightly be named young player. He will be top 3 in Player of the Year but I think Hazzard will win it. Next season will be a big challenge for young Kane, 2nd seasonitis et al but I hope he continues his progress. He seems a lad with the right attitude.

Can we really say we have any youngsters coming through like this. They're either all in the first team already or 19 or younger and at that point still too far off to be able to make any kind of predictions.

I think Kane is just a young english player who has worked hard and took an opportunity with both hands this season.
If he was spanish or belgian or anything like that he would be getting tipped for a huge future and the next........(insert player)
Yet there is a lot of people who wish ill on Kane simply because he is english, which is amazing to me.

Pritchard plays in the same team as Long, I think this is them both celebrating Long's goal the other day, but Pritchard is a starter and Long only starts a few games and normally gets subbed on instead. He's probably the most likely to make any impression on the first team next season unless you think Ledson will get any game time.
