Harry Kane

Exactly - let's rejoice in a good kid accelerating his career, hope it continues for him regardless of the club he plays for.
Feel a touch sorry for Sterling tbh despite his public personna, thought he had a good game and not only did he setup Kane but he got his own first goal for England.

But it will probably be overlooked with the Kane Mania.

Pritchard plays in the same team as Long, I think this is them both celebrating Long's goal the other day, but Pritchard is a starter and Long only starts a few games and normally gets subbed on instead. He's probably the most likely to make any impression on the first team next season unless you think Ledson will get any game time.

In the same Brentford team, watch out for Jon Toral. This kid is very talented, reckon he'll be talked about a lot in the near future.

Next year it'll be Ibe/Akpom or a.n othermania.

The hopes of.a nation placed on a kids shoulders is ridiculous

80%of footy fans expect him to dry out in 'the second season' interesting to see if he can keep it up, wouldnt mind it. Proper footyballer it seems

I think Kane is just a young english player who has worked hard and took an opportunity with both hands this season.

If he was spanish or belgian or anything like that he would be getting tipped for a huge future and the next........(insert player)

Yet there is a lot of people who wish ill on Kane simply because he is english, which is amazing to me.

He's a boss finisher right now but he's had some goals that just looked like dumb luck and EVERYTHING is going in for him this year. In the offseason coaches will break down how to defend him. Plus he's going to find out what its like to play year round with England, Europe (mostly likely) and Prem duties. So you'll see some dropoff. I would consider 20-24 goals next season in all comps an excellent second season (which some deluded people might not because he didn't improve exponentially).

He looks to be an excellent player and he'd probably be well served to stay right at spurs for the next 3-5 years instead of jumping for a bigger payday.

The thing that dissapoints me about the Kane hype is that you get every pleb media hungry blert of a hanger on coming out taking the credit for his development, Arry Redknapp, Tim Sherwood, Les Ferdinand.

Bad blerts, bet they will be very quiet when the lad has a tricky spell. Seems like a good lad Harry hope he keeps it up.

I think there are a lot of cynical opinions being expressed about the lad based on not much. He's done nothing wrong yet, so give him a break.

I know it's the hype, and not him personally that's being targeted, but even so. I wish him well.

Its the media,he's bound to hit a "levelling out"patch soon either before the end of this season or the beginning of next, they will build this kid up to be the fella who will end the long "wait" for glory,he seems a level headed lad,he'll have to be with those vultures waiting to bring him down from the perch they have already put him on.
