Have to say, the lad looked good. You don't really hear of many keepers coming through the youth system and going on to make a name for themselves at their clubs, but hopefully Harry Tyrer will have a long and successful career with Everton.

Couple of great saves from him today. I can't say he's massively impressed me either for the u23's as when he first came through I thought his kicking was poor and he wasn't the tallest. But that will have done him the world of confidence today that and a nice time to remind all the 1st team staff that he'll do a job if need be.

Yeh he looks a bit small but only 18 so hopefully still growing.
