I never got carried away last night when the story broke and one spurs journalist? Saying it was close to being completed for 20/25mil Obviously it then came out we want a loan and and spurs want to sell. Im not excited by this possible loan, but if franks wants him what can we do.
I think we probably have 6/7 midfielders on our list maybe we buy one and loan one, I don’t see winks on a buy list. The other thing and maybe someone who knows our finances better than me. With this years accounts ending next week, surely we wouldn’t spend money in that time as it will effect our P&S and make this years numbers worse, unless we sell Richy this week as well. Or could we do the deal but sign it off July the 1st?
I do think if spurs insist on 20/25 mil then it definitely won’t happen thankfully, we can surely find better value for that type of money. You do get fans starting to come around to the idea whenever we get linked with an average player. Just listened to Tony Scott in his and Gregg O’keeth’s pod. And he was sort of behind it saying we can’t except to attract great players and 3/4 of the prem are more attractive than us, which I disagree with. Hopefully we will have a new name in few days

Think half the problem people have is that we've become so used to recruitment with zero cohesive plan that we can't judge incomings based on what they'd offer into a overall structured system of play.
That £25m fee rumour is terrifying. Looks to be the exact kind of player we need to stop signing. We’ll see but not optimistic with this one…
