Well that's about £1.5mill saving for us. Its the right decision as even with Jags out he wasn't getting a look in, maybe with a run of games for West Ham and a WC coming up he will prove a decent signing for them.

Bit disappointing to see a player who cost 6/7 million leave for nothing when we have no money for transfers. He's a decent player but does need a string of games to get the required performance. I think it will be a good signing for West Ham.

With Distin turning 36 I wonder if we should have given him a new deal. I'm surprised Roberto didn't play him more. I thought he might suit Robertos game more than Jags/Distin.
