Heitinga hints at Everton exit

He was the only sub who went and had a kick around with the kids at half time, doesnt make any odds ability or wages wise, but he's being painted as satan by some on here

Only cos he knew he wouldn't get in to any 50/50 challenges.

As other have said, he did have spells where he played really well for us, however I just think he's one of those nomadic characters who loses interest and needs to be moved on after 2-3 years, no matter what club he's at.

He's a much better player when he's starting every week. There is talent there, just no desire to sit behind someone. He'll do well on another club.

Not really sad to see him go, he's not the worst defender we've had by a long while, but there was no way he was going to break up the Jagielka/Distin partnership. Alcaraz impressed against Southampton so he looks to be next in line.

Thanks Johnny

Wish him well.
He's never said a bad word about us. That's wages we can use to strengthen elsewhere.

Phase 1 of "Operation January" already completed, and it still December. :)

Everyone wins really. They get a CB desperate to get minutes for just wages, we get to finally stop paying said ludicrous wages and he gets to play again in his preferred position -- because anywhere else and he won't have it, the mardy tw*t.
