Surely holland aren't so short of defenders that they will need to pick Johnny no games.

Shame west ham could have been a great opportunity for him to stake a claim for a WC spot. Plenty of game time and could have appeared integral to any upturn in their fortune that may come about.

well he played at the last world cup, i'm sure he'd still be in their plans if he hadn't have spent the whole time on our bench happy to pick up wages instead of moving elsewhere.
