Heitinga

Heitinga should be starting games at centre half. He was our best player last season.

I've always thought Jagielka and Distin were a bit of a dodgy partnership, and conceding 4 goals in two games would suggest that this is the case.

Either Distin or Jags needs to be dropped for Heitinga.

Johnny is that you? Distin and Jags are one of the best centre back partnership's in the league.

Last seasons player of the year is sat on the bench, and I fear he'll stay there if only because nobody quite knows which of the two current centre halves to drop; Frankly I think it could be either, both have a had a couple of poor games imo.

Bit of a weird situation, can't decide which one is underperforming the most? Keep em both in!!

They have just conceded 4 goals in two games so that's just not true.

Johnny and distin are the better cb pair, jags had a good game against man u but since then he's back to how he was last year.
The problem with jags is he's to static mentally. He dosnt change the way he plays to suit the game being played around him he just plays it his way and it backfires on plenty of occasions.

But he is one of moyes favourite so he's in the team till he's injured wether it costs us points or not.

And it dose cost us points like against WBA when Gibson got injured, the most obvious thing would of been drop felliani back to DM put mirels behind jelly and leave that ****ing void in time Neville at rb where he can do the least damage.
But no moyes nearly shot his load at having Neville and hibbert on at the same time, and it dosnt matter that we now have the bloody big hole in midfeild coz we got jags to uselessly hoof it at felliani anyway.

Just my opinion like tho.

It is going to be so frustrating when Moyes continues with the dodgy Jagielka and Distin partnership, whilst last seasons' best player remains sitting on the bench.

I'd imagine he rates him as a player otherwise selecting him as centre half based on the fact that in the future he'd like him to be captain would be a bit odd.

But it will look a little odd if Moyes appoints a captain who isn't first choice in the team.

Yeah obviously mate, so you think he's selected by a premier league team on the basis that when we replace our captain the manager wants him as the new captain so in order to have him as captain next year he'll continue to play him regularly ? does that make sense to you ?

Yes it does to me actually. I'm not saying it is the reason he's in team or that it's even one of the reasons. It may be in Moyes' thinking thats all.

Heitinga should be in the team over Jagielka on recent form.

Oh Ok mate yeah that makes more sense now ive read it like that. I get if your saying it's a contributing factor that could help influence his decision as could if he thinks Johnny might be gone in January .

We have 3 senior CB that's it and Moyes will let him leave in January. Doesn't sound right. We should offer him a new contract now. We should not get rid of these big name players.

Don't forget Distin is 35 and will retire soon.

Jagielka and Distin aren't performing well in the last two matches. Heitinga should have been playing last match anyway. Moyes is not changing the backline even we are conceding goals. Strange.
