A little trivia: I live in Omaha, the biggest city in Nebraska. Omaha is actually the name of a tribe that is here in Nebraska, and the state is named by the Native Americans roughly translating to "flat water."

Though not my first choice, I definitely wouldn't complain. I, like anyone else, like to get a little crazy sometimes. Also we Americans can't exactly take ownership of Hawaiian pizza, because the Canadians up north did that. We do love it here, though. Is that even a thing over there?

My whole experience of Nebraska is that my paperwork went through your immigration office when I moved over to Wisconsin. Oh and that they couldn't make deadlines so it ended up being sent to California.

Luckily yes. The closest MLS team to me is Sporting KC which is three hours away, so I have free reign to support whomever. I hate SKC, naturally.
Heartland Horde actually started right here in the Nebraska/Iowa area and represents the largest number of Sounders supporters (outside of Washington anyway.)
Ha! As for Tom, I think those days are over, sadly enough. Best coach of all time and it's not really even close. He's more on the political side and was in the House of Representatives for a while, and almost became Governor of Nebraska once. Just goes to show how awesome he was.
Playing the Trump card, I wanted to ask upthetoffees about his support for Trump or Clinton but felt it was akin to asking about religion.

Leonard, not a chance that would ever happen unless I suffer a brain injury in the coming weeks.
Caolam, to some/most people here, you're pretty right. People avoid politics in conversation like the plague, and voting for a lot of people is a pretty private thing until after you do it. As for me, I'm not one of those people. This election is the second one I've been able to participate in but it's one of the most ridiculous of all time. People who do not want Trump are doing one of three things:
1. Voting Clinton
2. Voting third party (Gary Johnson is in third place, but behind by light years)
3. Not voting at all (which is a pretty terrible thing to do)
By doing anything but option 1, they are contributing to the possibility that Trump could take office, which is terrifying. Gary Johnson will never win, therefore that vote is basically one vote that could have gone to Clinton but is essentially going to waste. Not voting at all is self explanatory.
I can honestly say I do not support either candidate but because of my hate and outright fear of a man like Trump taking office, I will be voting Clinton. It's ridiculous that it's even come to this. It should be a landslide win for Clinton, but it's not.
