Cheers mate, and thanks for the reply. Looking forward to reading your future posts.

I have spent some time in NYC and Hawaii, and America's a fantastic country. Great to see you making the right choices in both politics and football.

Have you visited the UK yet?, do you plan to make it to Liverpool for a Toffee's match in the future?

NYC is great. Hawaii I've never been, but I know that's where they filmed LOST so I have to go see it at some point and find the Others.

Visiting the UK, especially Liverpool, is on my bucket list. My goal is to get over there and see a match at Goodison before it's gone. Sounds like that's going to be pretty realistic because a new stadium has been in talks for a long time anyway.

My name is Spencer and I'm from the USA. I deleted my reddit account and found this as a good alternative for posting and meeting other supporters around the world. I really hope to travel to Liverpool here one day soon. I'm looking to befriend some fellow Everton fans and just stay up on my favorite team in the world. Can't wait to get to know you all!
Hello mate. Who's been your favourite American Blue? I'm a Joe-Max Moore man, me - had a boss chant!

Goodison is ace, especially if you like your footwear liberally caked in canine faeces. You won't get that bit of insight on Trip Advisor...!

Leonard, not a chance that would ever happen unless I suffer a brain injury in the coming weeks.

Caolam, to some/most people here, you're pretty right. People avoid politics in conversation like the plague, and voting for a lot of people is a pretty private thing until after you do it. As for me, I'm not one of those people. This election is the second one I've been able to participate in but it's one of the most ridiculous of all time. People who do not want Trump are doing one of three things:

1. Voting Clinton
2. Voting third party (Gary Johnson is in third place, but behind by light years)
3. Not voting at all (which is a pretty terrible thing to do)

By doing anything but option 1, they are contributing to the possibility that Trump could take office, which is terrifying. Gary Johnson will never win, therefore that vote is basically one vote that could have gone to Clinton but is essentially going to waste. Not voting at all is self explanatory.

I can honestly say I do not support either candidate but because of my hate and outright fear of a man like Trump taking office, I will be voting Clinton. It's ridiculous that it's even come to this. It should be a landslide win for Clinton, but it's not.

Glad to hear what you say not that I could condemn anyone in regard to how they vote. Being from Northern Ireland we have quite a few politicians who make Donald Trump look positively middle of the road.

Since there have been very few American Blues, I've done a lot of research on all of them. Joe is my favorite as well. I was only 8 when he was in his prime and not following Premier League, but just his versatility and skill was on such a high level, at Everton and for our national team as well. As far as who attracted me to Everton the most, though, was Tim Howard, just because of the timing of the World Cups and being older, with Premier League being more accessible to me here on cable.

Unfortunately there are crazies all over the place, and they're usually the ones that are crazy enough to get to places of power. I think only time can fix that, I'm afraid.

He's not popular on here, but I think Tim did a lot more good than bad in his time here. Liked Brian McBride too - wished we'd kept him longer.

Tim Howard had a bit of a fall from grace, ruined his legacy, stayed on too long.

That's really good stuff. I think it pretty accurately depicts us as a FooballSoccer nation and how it's growing here. There are a lot of very casual fans of big money clubs who couldn't tell you the scoreline to the club they follow's most recent match. That's just not the case with Everton. I have never met a Toffee here who's not totally committed and invested in the club emotionally. I don't think you could ask for more out of a country that is raised on (American) Football and Basketball. I fell in love with the club and haven't looked back since. I've never thought twice about going to a pub at 6 in the morning to watch the Blues play. I don't drink so it's in fact the only time you'll ever see me in a pub.
