I don't mind when posters contribute a lot, loads of decent posters with great knowledge on here. Issue with Davek is he throws a line out and dies on that hill.
Been guilty of being baited by him recently, but it his difficult when he posts so strong views repeatedly. And don't blame posters getting fed up with him and responding.
IMO I would thread ban him from the Friedkin takeover thread until significant news emerges, as we all heard his opinion a million times over and don't think what should been one of the most positive threads in ages should be turned into the Davek show.
Also the Labour thread until after general election. The things he has accused Starmer of being is beyond lunacy.

He's not baiting anyone, he's got concerns about the potential new owners and is vocal about these. If you don't agree with him let him know or don't engage with him banning him for being repetitive and vocal isn't helpful.

I personally disagree. It is something to post an opinion and defend it.
It is another to post virtually everyday negative bile that intends to offend. And claim a god like persona to act like we are all simply unaware of the facts.
As you can see with the current general election with the misinformation about the tax rises for example and the Brexit referendum with the bus. You allow mis-information and hatred to lead discussion you end up with Farage and Trump dominating your lives.
