Yet another thread dominated by Dave and he hadn't even made a contribution.

I've got the fella on ignore because whilst he can be entertaining in small bite size chunks he becomes tiresome beyond belief.

The Carly Simon song "You're so vain "springs to mind with Dave , "I bet you think this thread is about you ".

Anyway pop the tube on ignore and the problem goes away until others start quoting him and then curiosity gets the better of you and you want to see what latest lunacy of Dave's has prompted the reply.

To sum it up stop monopolising threads with nonsense or Matty is going to be made a mod to deal with you.

I do think davek has been well OTT in his Friedkin and ownership threads

The forum has got a little tedious the past couple of weeks.

Every June/July - we do relax moderation/get a little lazy when the season isn't on and evidently, @roydo used to do most of the work around here!

But please help us out, mainly with;

• Try and stay on topic. The majority of our visitors don't register, never mind post. Average visit time on here in June has been the lowest in 3 years and I can understand why. Main threads are going way off topic, and;
  
  
• Monopolising Threads. Looking at you @davek - we're getting a fair few reports, and people messaging me on here, emailing me and even some fella tweeting me of people sick of people monopolising discussion. Use the multi quote feature. And if you're replying on every page for pages on end, take a step back and let the debate breathe.

Can only speak for myself as an infrequent poster but this season took it out of me. Couldn't be arsed to see what we are up to for a while after the last game and I bet others are the same. I've started logging on again this week, only to find myself in new transfer threads looking around in confusion like Joe Biden. Enjoy the summer lads and ladettes

Just done that and never thought I would, like you I thought he could be entertaining, Now he's become tedious beyond belief, doesn't really listen to people's answers, just goes on and on repeating his dogma. Trouble is he's becoming a prophet of doom in his own head, everything he says is he thinks fact and it's sad to see, he's become a parody of himself.

The transfer thread needs restricting to two posts max per poster per day to stop the passive aggressive jarg-scout ferrets monopolising what should be some stop hub for latest news on Everton. Failing that please close the Wrestling thread and I feel this will focus everybody to be better.
