imagine the horrific stuff they would pile through with a massive majority, even the moderate tories wouldnt be able to stop the right of the party

im surprised the lib dems dont seem to be getting any poll increase, i guess moderate centrists have given up and just voting tory?!

They don't appeal to anyone. They sold their soul to David Cameron via Nick Clegg - they're finished and have been for years.

if there was an election now would you still vote labour? i would never vote tory.. im just trying to work out who centerists would vote for?!

Personally I'd abstain from voting or vote for an independent (same thing really), but if I really had to choose between the two, I'd vote Conservative, as I'd have no choice due to economic and national security reasons.

we are ballsed

I am using this thread to make a post because it seems to be the one most visited. I am reaching out to all on this.

I received a short ban due to a post I made recently in which the content was open to various interpretations, the wording is now immaterial. With hindsight I acknowledge that it did not conform to Forum rules and the ban was correct. As a result of that ban my behaviour was irascible which I regret. My apologies to Dylan, Danny and the other mods and to all forum members. As regards my posts there is no malice or malevolence ever intended to any members or the admin of the site.

17 point lead. Lets not forget that polls underestimated Tory support by 6% at GE2015. And the Tories will gain another 10-15 seats on Labour with the boundary changes. It will be a complete wipeout.

the tories have gone up! absolutely incredible

Without actually saying anything remotely of note at their conference they've managed to appeal to a lot of disaffected voters so their lead in the polls should surprise no-one really.

While Labour argues internally for all to see, the Tories, while they have internal problems of their own, care more about winning than anything else.
