It was a fair while ago now mate, but she did get into trouble for remarks she made that were taken as being racist.

She said " ''White people love playing 'divide & rule'".

You do know that it's possible for a black person to be racist don't you?

I suggest you have a read up on the 'honourable' Ms Abbot and get back to me.

I can remember (lived in her constituency at the time) that around 1999 / 2000 she was widely reported as having blamed lack of educational achievement among Afro Carribean kids on white, male teachers.

And then proceeded to send her lad to public school. A decision in keeping with her nice property in a gated community.

Just got that on Ch4 news before....

I wonder how many remainers think he shouldn't have a seat because he's too old (In the same way they're blaming the elderly for voting 'out')

Like a time machine back the 70's watching that rally then.

The PLP have been backstabbing from day one, if they were so convinced of Corbyn's inability to lead they should've let him get on with the job and allow him to fall on his own sword.
