Has their been any info on what Bobby Madley heard,he was right there in between the players when something was said or did the corrupt FA not even bother to ask,i haven't heard or read anything in regard to the ref, which is odd.

I mean....it's in the statement.

“We took statements from a total of 12 players and officials from both teams, the match referee and the fourth official. None of these individuals directly heard the words alleged to have been said by Firmino.”

Can we at least read the thing before commenting on it?

I know mate I don't quite know how to react to that, do I get into a slanging match because they have said stuff that can make me look bad, or do I just swerve twitter entirely (deactivate it and look suspect), or do I ignore it

do these people not realise a footballer may get a ban and a telling off, but start slinging that round in real life and you can ruin peoples lives

utter scum

Well it could be classed as libel and an offense under the Defamation Act 2013 but all depends how far you would want to take it. You could report it as abusive behaviour to Twitter. Quite a few things you could do . It's not OK for people to just throw accusations out and damage a person reputation.

They questioned him according to their statement

Also another trope is 'if bobby (cringe) said something I'd be the first to condemn him'.

Except literally NONE of you has condemned Suarez to this day. In fact you put Evra on trial and convicted him of lying despite Suarez himself admitting Evra didn't lie.

Absolute weapons.
I knew kopites who did this and I lost respect for them for doing that. If my Chelsea-supporting family can manage not to defend John Terry's racism, what's their excuse?

Give me the way this has been handled any day compared to the Suarez and Evra case. Is that what some of you have wanted here, a complete media circus leading to the most farcical handling of a racist complaint that trivialised the whole affair. Holgate has remained silent and dignified, Everton have remained silent and dignified and even Liverpool (probably with their behaviour from the Suarez case in the backs of their mind) have kept their gobs shut. This has been handled away from the media glare and the FA have taken their time, they haven't looked to cut corners and I think they genuinely believed Holgate's claim but without evidence what can you do? It's what separates us from the third world.

There is some proper victim cry arsing going on in here. "I wish Everton weren't pushovers", "I wish Jags wasn't such a little fanny", "I wish we had Liverpool's underhand approach" wah wah wah. This was a serious incident, and some of the nonsense on here threatens to turn the whole thing into the kind of sideshow that Suarez and Evra was - the kind of "will they shake hands" theatre that the gutter-press in this country absolutely loves.

I think some of you have been trawling through RAWK so much laughing at the RS that you've subconsciously adopted a bit of their style.
Like Jagielka has anything to do with it and like he could have done anything. Honestly, what the hell?

Nice post where you've tried to show some even handedness. However you portray me crudely. I stick with the facts. The facts are that the FA, should they have wanted to do so, had the right to state that there was no evidence to back up Holgate's claims and dismiss the case robustly (and rapidly). They did neither. They underlined the point that Holgate was justified to bring his suspicions up for investigation AND they found that, though the weight of evidence was not in sufficient volume to charge Firmino, it was not a case of an absence of evidence, merely insufficient supply of it.

The conclusion is ambiguous and not to the satisfaction of either Everton or Liverpool supporters.
You don't stick with the facts though; if you did, you couldn't possible be 100% confident of Firmino's guilt, which you have been since day 1. It makes no sense to do so unless you're so completely blinded by the "red mist".

yeah I did report it on twitter like, I replied to them too saying I get they were just trying to prove a point, but its dangerous to a random member of the public and not a multimillionaire footballer

I work quite close with the police and military and stuff like that could cause me all ends of trouble

Ignore it mate, you'll only feed the beauts to come back with more crap if you react, ignore, and they go away.

The reason why I stay away from Twitter, facebook, etc is because of bellends like that.

Interesting that just you've joined today like a number of posters on this thread. But I actually agree with a lot of that to be fair. There has been a lot of hypocrisy on both sides.
I've viewed this site (not just this thread) for several weeks but only chose to join today as I'm amazed that so many are still certain of Firmino's guilt.

The level of craziness of football supporters on these forums (not just Everton) is truly staggering! Liverpool, Utd, City, Everton fans all think one (or more) of the other sides are the media darlings and that the FA, media, Sky & all refs have a witch hunt against them! On this thread, I've seen fans refer to "coloured" people whilst making points about how racist Liverpool are. I've seen plenty on here saying if it was the other way round, Liverpool fans would be all over the the "racist" Everton player, yet they can't see the irony of not being able to see it the other way round themselves.
