depends mate, think Suarez got 8 matches, and think Terry the year later got 4 but a much bigger fine, think the major difference was due to Suarez using the word repeatedly to Evra, Terry i think used one insult

So best guess - would be a 4 match ban and 200-400k fine

Only if he was a good player mate, RedMenTV etc threw flanagan for example under the bus the other day in a video saying he should be sacked (which he should tbh), wonder what video reaction they will do about this incident .......

I think he has actually just absolutely bottled it and rather than make a massive headline grabbing decision - which IF it was shown he himself misheard would have ended his career as a ref - he has decided to play the see no evil hear no evil card. and let it be sorted out post match when he off the hook responsibility wise.

There is another interpretation to that (I believe he bottled it) but that he chose not to act upon it in that moment because then the issue is not dealt with and will have to be looked at. Effectively he passes it on to his superiors. While no refs would admit it publicly, I do think they will know, if an incident is of such magnitude they know not taking any action means it gets dealt with at the appropriate level.
