My RS mate seems to think Roberto called Holgate 'son of a whore' in Portuguese.
He did ( apparently ) but that's in clear view of the cameras and not what Holgate reacts to which is something else.

If Firmino was Norwegian then I would understand them all being language experts, however, he's not and they don't know Portuguese.amazing the number of RS fans who seem to be fluient in Portuguese.
It could be simply he said something about his mum and that's what made him flip.
There is zero evidence that he said anything racist.
Cheers Khal x
I thought it was a bit odd on first reading but like @ToffeeTim I realised you had merely worded it badly.

He did twice, every man and his dog knows that now, however thats not what kicks Mason off.
I cant believe the whole son of a whore thing is still being discussed. It doesnt matter what Firmino said in the 1st minute, the 22nd minute 20 seconds before the event or last week - its of no relevance.
The only thing that matters is what he said in the couple of seconds that are blocked by Kenny's head. I honestly cant believe people still havent got onto that

He clearly calls him a son of a whore. Filho de puta. But yeah, the view of what's said next was blocked by Kenny. You don't have to of watched City of God, or have a place in the Algarve on loop to know those wordsHe did ( apparently ) but that's in clear view of the cameras and not what Holgate reacts to which is something else.
