So , if the last trophy they won together for Everton was in 1970, than i guess it would be very apropriate to rise that statue at the 50th aniversary of that achievement. I guess it would be erected infront of current stadium, but at least you can move the statue easily.
 
How difficult it is to get planning permission for a statue? I presume not at the same level of complexity as a stadium but would it be a good dry run I preparing for the stadium bid or indeed covering up any of the initial to and fros before the stadium application is made official?

Am I in silver foil hat territory yet?

The club will likely run the PP for the statues, they wont do it for the stadium.
