....it’s that time when you start wondering if they’ll turn up and if so will it be in the race you’ve backed them in. The perils of ante-post but I love it because you can get a great return for little outlay.

This time last year I had a £2 ew ante-post double on Moohayed in the County Hurdle @ 33-1 and Rathvinden in the NH Chase at 20-1. Both won and I got £1,520 back for £4. I was £3k up on the week.

I’ve got 22-1 for Cilaos Emery in the Arkle and i’ve also got it in some big priced doubles. I’ve also got Lalor in the Arkle at 33-1, so i’m well covered if both turn up.

The last ante-post I mentioned on here was Mister Dino @18-1 for the JLT, it got backed into 3-1 but now doesn’t run because of injury!! Hopefully, it’s not the kiss of death for CE.

I remember seeing that mate, hopefully you will do just as well this year. I normally go for the 4 days but giving it a miss due to other commitments. Will be watching avidly at home or pub. Got CE at 20's myself, here's hoping.

Good start today just had winston c and commander of fleet in a £10 double

Never did Commander of Fleet today as was too short this morning, been out shopping get in and race is off and huge price. Put todays money on Potato race though so got 16's NRNB for next month.

With Cheltenham and Aintree just around the corner this is a major concern.

Never did Commander of Fleet today as was too short this morning, been out shopping get in and race is off and huge price. Put todays money on Potato race though so got 16's NRNB for next month.

....it was 75-1 with Hills to win at the weekend and ‘any race’ at Cheltenham. Well tipped up to win both but I didn’t do it myself.

Sure he had these issues a few seasons ago. Or it could of been Jonjo O’Neill.

Like you said earlier, it could ruin the festivals coming up if it’s a bigger break out than 1 yard.

....already backed one for the Betfair Hurdle on Saturday, also backed the same horse @ 50-1 in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham. Should’nt be an issue, the bet will be void unless the race is re-scheduled.

Would love to see Lalor win at Cheltenham for this Lady, what must her and her daughter have been through.
