....Grand National weights published today, very happy with allocations for 3 I’ve already backed; Rathvinden, Traffic Fluid and Rock the Kasbah.

All horse need to of had the flu jab in the past six months to race now. Rules loads of horses out for the weekend as when they get the jab they can’t race for 8 days.

Lots of horses going to be missing ore races for Cheltenham for the English trainers. Santini for Henderson being one.

Back the Irish come Cheltenham. Festival will be full of shocks even more than usual.

TBH the apart from Altior there aren't any real clear favs for Cheltenham races anyway; even Buveur Dair has drifted to 2/1. Hard to consider any result a shock when nothing dominates the market! It's just that sort of a year.

Go to the races frequently and don't do tattersalls or equivalent any more. Too many drunken idiots nowadays especially the Summer meetings. If I go with the Mrs then it's hospitality all the way. Pricey but well worth it.

....that actually looks like the County Stand lawn at Haydock.

You could be right mate but loads bunk in either swapping badges or just swarming past the beleaguered stewards on the gates. Also the stewards do get a bit lax as the day goes on.
