Absolute idiots. What are the stewards doing though. Only like one maybe two trying to stop it or calm it down, loads just standing there, watching and doing nothing.

They are idiots yes but why would you rush in there anyone of them could have a knife.
Also, in the day and age of everything being recorded (said Twitter video) and evidenced it's a fine line for a probably poorly paid steward to get involved.

I'm not saying that it is right, however I am sure it's an aspect in their decision making as is it worth their job if it goes wrong? In their eyes, it probably isn't.

Twenty years ago, if there were issues like that then security may have waded in and any Cons. present would have been up for a scrap - then it would be over.

Agree with that, this day and age you really just have to let it come to an end then sort it out.

But isn't it part of their job to protect people who are there, otherwise what is the point of them being there. For me if you ain't willing to at least help in some way when something like this happens then don't do the job.

If someone was kicking your head in, which looks like it was happening to one or two people when you look at the start of the video, I would expect the stewards to be helping in some way to stop it. How could you forgive yourself if you did just stand there and something serious happened to that person. I know I wouldn't be able to.
