Sky bet doing £20 risk free bets for the first race each day at Cheltenham. If you lose the bet is refunded as cash.
Game changer of an offer that.

Was talking to the manager of my local bookies and they sound like most, yep.. most are going to be closing due the the FOBS change.
Makes you think how much they must have been coining in off them if that's the case.

There'll be all sorts of offers and concessions for Cheltenham. Bookies are always trying to outdo each other.
And then when you take advantage of the offer and look like you know what you're doing, you'll get your account closed (or more insultingly, restricted to pennies).

There was an initial boom about a decade ago with betting shops springing up all over the place (especially as you could only have 4 FOBTs in any single shop). But in the last couple of years in London I have noticed that a lot of shops have been closing down as footfall and revenue falls. The FOBT restrictions will only accelerate that. I do all my betting in shop.. there'll still be plenty of them around for many years yet, but no doubt that the trend is only going one way.

Yer thats it out of all my mates i think only one goes the shop to do it

TBH I think the FOBT £2 limit is a bit overplayed. There is a natural cycle to most things, and it might just be that hanging out down the local bookies' is getting a bit long in the tooth for many people anyway.

Besides, the £2 limit doesn't restrict how much you can put into a machine, it just limits the amount you bet per spin, but at the rate that things whizz along you can still burn through hundreds if not thousands of quid in a relatively short amount of time.

.. I have seen this myself.. the guy was desperate to sign me up for the Grid card (didn't tell him I'm already banned from that system). Feel sorry for them, not a nice situation to be in.

I've gone Abolitionist in the National been bought from Ireland with this race in mind.

It's now trained by Dr Richard Newland a previous National winning trainer who schools his horses over National fences.

It's not run over fences yet, something it needs to do to qualify. But it could be potentailly thrown in at the weights as it was on its hurdle debut in England when it hacked up Aintree.
Entered 2.05 Newbury tomorrow. Veterans chase so surely wins that.

First race each day please eggs... See if I can win some money from sky bet

Tues Supreme; Backed Klassical Dream 20-1 for this, looks like it will go Ballymore (Wed). Few words for Mister Fisher (Henderson’s 2nd string). I don’t have a strong hand if KD doesn’t run in this so will rely on Thomas Darby (33-1) and Itchy Feet (33-1).

Wed Ballymore; I like Klassical Dream but not at a short price. City Island (20-1), Easy Game (25-1) and Galvin (50-1) are my ante-post bets but again it’s not my strongest hand.

Thurs JLT; I had a certainty in this with Mister Dino @ 18-1. It got backed into 3-1 and then got injured. This is a very weak renewal, lots declared here and for the Arkle. I backed Kildisart @ 33-1 which is looking ok now.

Fri Triumph; Sir Eric (25-1) is looking good in my portfolio. I’ve heard a very strong word for Pic D’Orhy which I have 16-1 and 12-1 but it had a set back and might be saved for Aintree. It’s supposed to be very good. Adjali is one I backed at 36-1 and there are reports it’s working really well at home.

....so many multiple entries at this stage. The Sky offer is really good, i’ll let you know if I hear any whispers for the above races.

Great work sir!

Winx win streak rolls on, now a world record. You can rightly question the quality of the opposition, but 31 wins in a row without an off day says something about this horse’s constitution.
