...no, it’s another of the Gigginstown (O’Leary, Ryanair) runners trained by Gordon Elliott. Increasingly, a couple of owners will have 10 or more runners in the big race which is a shame. It’s so difficult to gauge which is best and folk will throw a few small darts at the big priced ones.

Silvestre De Sousa announced as stable jockey for King Power Racing. They bought some amazing young horses following initial success with Beat The Banks prolific Group 2 winner. Many of the horses trained by Andrew Balding at Kingsclere - with SDS on board, going to have a huge season. Unlucky on Oisin Murphy who is hugely talented but worth watching how the KP horses fare this year with the young Brazilian on board!

Just had the enormous sum of £1 each way on Monbeg with Bet365 NRNB a quarter of the odds first five at 80-1.
I mentioned the horse to my father in law who loves his racing and he's had a similar bet .
He had the cheek to ask "who's Eggs"? lol

....that’s how I play it too, very sensible. Small stakes at big prices. Let’s hope you get a run for your money.

....if it gets in the final declarations, keep an eye on Azzuri in Thursday’s Red Rum Chase. I took 50-1 for it last week but at the moment it needs quite a few to come out to get a run. It’s being backed and could be a plunge horse if it’s in.
