I backed that last night. Ran a cracker and was heavily backed.

...chinned late on, but that’s racing. I backed it e/w @ 15-1 and have it in an e/w double with Aracebo @ 33-1 (which has also been backed).

The ground has been quick in Ireland and the slower ground at Ascot seems to have caught a couple out.

know what you mean.......But some of his horse's (mainly hot favs) have been getting caught out for years now. But I suppose you cannot win them all.
And almost every horse he sends out is made favourite. False favourites in most cases.

I backed Admiral Nelson when it won last week. Whilst it won nicely enough, it certainly didn’t warrant being such a short price on much slower ground today and luckily I swerved the race.

I backed Admiral Nelson when it won last week. Whilst it won nicely enough, it certainly didn’t warrant being such a short price on much slower ground today and luckily I swerved the race.

I was thinking more of More Beautiful. Backed off the boards. And stuffed.
And Japan earlier in the week. And Anthony van Dyck. Not great runs by both.

But as I said.......you cannot win every race. So I suppose the secret to getting an O'Brien winner is backing the goers. And hoping to avoid the horses that don't turn up. But that's the nature of the beast all round.
And the biggest secret is......keep everything crossed and hope for the best.

Yep - it's your wallet talking to be honest. APOB still firing in the big winners. His current crop just aren't as good as previous years.
