Better I suppose that a kick in the ####. But I thought that it would have at least paid £100 per unit. maybe due to a small pool. And also maybe down to a number of second favs getting placed.

The current series of ‘Ambulance’ is shot in Liverpool and one episode covers the Grand National where he’s being treated for a badly broken leg. His first thoughts are to ring his wife because he knows how worried she’ll be. Not only a hazardous occupation, but daily concern for loved ones.

Geraghty can now look forward to retirement and look back with pride.

I love Enable but I'm not putting much weight into a 3 runner King George, and still think the chances of winning a 3rd Arc are fairly slim. Would love to be proven wrong though.

To be fair though, what's her opposition this autumn? Not much quality coming from abroad. Love will have to improve a fair bit to beat her.

Enable and Love take up half the book between them, both at 3/1 for the Arc. TBH I would much rather back Love. She is the obvious big improver and will get age allowance. But really it looks to be quite an open field, although a lot can happen between now and Oct.
