Horse Racing

Enable and Love take up half the book between them, both at 3/1 for the Arc. TBH I would much rather back Love. She is the obvious big improver and will get age allowance. But really it looks to be quite an open field, although a lot can happen between now and Oct.

Not much of a surprise to be honest. There's no high class Japanese horse coming over this time and the Arc trials like the Niel haven't been run yet. There's literally only two almost-certain runners at the moment.

Kameko may well have got first run with a better ride, shocking from Murphy.

I didn’t back Kameko and I doubt it would have won even with first run, still awful though
I think kameko would of won with abetted positioning. He got it boxed in and had to backtrack for a stride of two and lost all momentum. He was wanting that rail side but it backfired on Murphy big time.

Imagine...Pickford being a racehorse...

Name ...Pickfords Plight

Form... Inconsistent performer, unpredictable & liable to bolt out of his stalls rashly...

Blinkers...often does not see danger coming...

Handicap... He most definitely is...

Colours...Green Very Wet behind the ears...

Training... Needs plenty often falls at the first hurdle, not very bright...

Room for improvement... Needs a drop in class...

Betting... Has tumbled from Banker to W*****

Summary... Disappointing runs this season with galloping mistakes & plenty of greenness when falling several times in the critical area, has met trouble often during a petulant season & needs to schooled better to produce better performances next season.

Looking at the betting for tonight's 19.15 at Galway has the first two in the betting as both odds on (1/4 and 8/11). Anyone seen this before apart from maybe two at 10/11 or the like.

He would definitely have the dreaded Timeform squiggle.

Good evening Orly how are you doing today.

New course record for Battaash.
Some sprinter.

(Absolutely no need for the jockey to give it a few with the whip final half furlong though.)

Just backed a filie of Haggas’s.
Angel Fairy.
Keep eye on that next few weeks.
Won with all sorts in hand against own sex tonight and could easily be much better going forward.
