Like you I just can't see why professional jockeys can ride at meetings but not amateurs?

Absolutely horrifying what Gordon Elliot has done, I honestly can’t find words.
His statement just adds more horror, does he think we’re all stupid.
I hope every owner withdraws their horses from his yard.
Imagine what goes on behind closed doors.
The cruelty, barbarity, horror, insensitivity and callousness are beyond any normal person comprehension.

....I expect this story will gain momentum during the day/week. To this point there has been doubt, lots saying it was ‘photo shot’ but with the statement overnight I wouldn’t be surprised if the media will be all over it. interesting to see if mainstream (SkyNews etc) find it worthy of reporting, but I expect Elliott will not get away lightly (and rightly so).
