Horse Racing

Have had horses all our life's and have lost a few over the years. The devastaton when it happened is still raw. Its something you have to deal with getting rid of the animal and that. And that is not pretty . How a man who makes a living out of horses can mock them like this is scandalous. Few other stories about his behaviour in other things would not paint him in a good light either.

I think the picture says it all , he has no feelings or respect for the animals or their owners , to him it's just business !
Let's hope all his owners vote with their feet

Wouldn’t surprise me if the horse was ran so much it had the heart attack.
Elliot sits on it for the photo to send the owner and an insurance claim was put in to recoup some money on the animal.

No one sits on a horse that’s just died moments earlier unless it’s intentional.

Only my opinion like..

Most insurance on horses only covers death on the track . It will be interesting to see who owned it and their reaction.

Whoever took the photo and captioned needs to be outed too .

And the moron stood to the left only just in shot.
Get them all out of the sport for good.

Sick sick people.

I’m also finding it slightly galling that non of the prominent horse racing journos and presenters are condemning this grotesque act... they’ve probably all been told to stay quiet but that doesn’t wash with me I’m afraid. Staying quiet is almost as bad as the act itself!

Sir A P McCoy needs to lead the way on the condemnation ... it’ll be very interesting to see his response and reaction.

Mick Fitz has now recovered and is now reviewing the weekends racing.

"I was standing over the horse waiting to help with the removal of the body, in the course of which, to my memory I received a call and, without thinking, I sat down to take it. Hearing a shout from one of my team, I gestured to wait until I was finished."

I've not seen the picture and don't know the trainer's physical condition but in general who feels the need to sit down to take a mobile phone call?

If the apparently callous attitude is par for the course at a top trainer's stable who claims the welfare of the animals is paramount then I dread to think what those in the industry to make money are like.
