....just chatting with the owner of Robin de Carlow & he said the first was going great in the Irish Grand National until Rachel Blackmore felt something wasn’t right & pulled him up. Turns out to be a fractured pelvis, & hoping to have him back in 8-12 weeks.

Trais Fluors 50/1 in the Newbury spring cup 3:20

It has ran in some big races including a Group 2 so it must have shown something to its former trainers, one of who was Andre Fabre in France.
Handicap debut today. Not saying it will win but the type to pop in at a big price sooner or later.
The reason I looked at this is because I couldn’t help but notice its trainer Mick Channon had a double yesterday.

.....we say goodbye to NH racing this week with the fabulous Punchestown Festival in Ireland. Lots of superstars will be out & nothing will be as mouthwatering as seeing the brilliant Monkfish take on Envoi Allen in what will be a great pointer to next years Gold Cup.

From a punting perspective, I’ll be dipping into the ‘win Punchestown/Cheltenham’ market. It’s a great way of boosting odds for Cheltenham.

it’ll be a terrific few days to watch even without having a bet.
