Horse Racing

When I first started frequenting the bookies as a 16 year old the first thing the old guys told me was never back Eddery's horses each way! That was when Dettori was starting as an apprentice for Luca Cumani!
They're was a few of them fallon another one,he's just set up a stables with daryll Holland, bet they want riders running for a place now prize money involved.

After tickets for Haydock on the 3rd July, all sold out on the official website, anyone know places where I can grab them, I know it’s easy on the day for aintree but never tried with Haydock

My lad got them last week, just a bit of a heads up if you're buying a ticket off someone ,he had to fill a covid form in for him and his mates might be a problem if you Don't get the tickets directly

You old enough to have watched Pat Eddery ?

The amount of placepots that fella cost me..
I have never backed horses, but in the office back in the 1960's, I used to listen to the guys who did. There was one jockey, can't remember his name, who they reckoned had the strongest forearms in the country. They say that he once 'fell off' his horse when leading and getting near the winning post. Very popular with owners who wanted to give their horse a run out but improve their odds for a bigger race.
