Just absolutely skated in at Kempton and is one of Henderson’s better novices apparently.
Ben Godfrey done well finishing second as well after a tough game yesterday..2CB47603-6EA3-4B0A-96D0-0D429E3689A6.webp

…..wouldn’t be surprised if the 33-1 for Abacadabras to win the Festival stayers hurdle with 365 gets a haircut in the next 24 hours. Might be worth a very little each way interest with cash-out.

20/1 now still had little nibble anyway

…that’s a shame, it was only a matter of time. I got an early sight of Gordon Elliott’s stable tour given to members only in the Racing Post. Abacadabras is just short of Champion Hurdle class running over 2miles. There was a few suggestions he might step the horse up in distance & this was confirmed in that stable tour.

Sitting on 33-1 ticket is terrific, especially if you can cash it out if this high quality horse doesn’t have the stamina for 3miles.

Queens Brook @ 25-1 with Hills for Mares Hurdle is a price that is still there this morning. i’d be surprised if that price lasts long given Elliotts comments that this is her target and he can see her winning. Hills don’t have cash-out but a small each-way wager on that 25-1 wouldn’t be the worst advice.

….Queens Brook into 16-1 now, surprised the 25s lasted so long.

….a few mega priced speculative ones for Cheltenham in March from the racing forum I’m on;

Gerri Colombe (Ballymore) 40-1 PP, 33-1 elsewhere
Ahoy Senor (Festival Novice Chase) 40-1 365, 33-1 elsewhere
Matterhorn (Triumph Hurdle) 50-1 365 and a few others
Eklat de Rire (Gold Cup) 66-1 365, 50-1 elsewhere

i think a 20p e/w accumulator would pay around £1m if they all won. A Yankee would break the bookies limit, but perhaps have a very small e/w interest on each of them with 365 where you can cash out if they look like going elsewhere.
Just done a cheeky lucky 15 , but didn't get them prices
Gerri 33/1 Ahoy 16/1 EKlat 25/1 Matterhorn 33/1
I know you posted this a while ago, reckon that bloke Will Hill got wind of your tips :cool:

Do you think Eggs? Wasn't over impressed myself. Jumping needs to be slicker for me but hopefully that will come.

…jumping was a bit novicey at times but that horse has some engine. The jockey said afterwards it’s the best experience he’s ever had on a racetrack and those fences are a true test. Bookies clipped him into very short favourite for the Marsh, I’m a little surprised 20-1 is still available for the Festival Chase even if he’s unlikely to go that route.

Happy I took 40-1 for Bob O in March to win the Ballymore & the Marsh next year.

….monthly (August) ante-post Yankee for Cheltenham;

Run Wild Fred 12-1 (National Hunt Chase)
Galvin 12-1 (Cross Country Chase)
A Plus Tard 10-1 (Gold Cup)
Hollow Games 33-1 (Albert Bartlett)

All prices with Bet365 (who offer cash-out).

….not a bad weekend for this bet I posted in early Sept;

RWF won today & is now a best priced 5-1 fav for NHC
Galvin is probably too good for the XC
A Plus Tard won the Betfair Chase yesterday & is 4-1 fav for GC
Hollow Games won like a good one today & is a general 8-1 fav for the Bartlett.

Run wild fred looked the part today ,looked like the winner all the way round very good horse imo

…as well as the Cheltenham race, I had him in my National portfolio @ 33-1 ahead of today, have to see what weight rise he gets for todays win..

….Run Wild Fred raised a massive 14lb by the Irish handicapper for its win yesterday, must be bad news for any attempt at the National (the horse that came 2nd to it, Farclas, only raised 3lb and in decent shape for Aintree).
