Horse Racing

Tough for me to answer that as I’d say yes everytime as I’m biased.

The money on the flat is different gravy though.
I can watch flat racing all day every day but jumps just bores the crap out of me. It's pretty much non existant over here though so probably why, i much prefer sprint races as even anything over 2000 metres i don't have much of an interest in.

It's like asking if Rugby League is more popular than Rugby Union.

In National Hunt the horses tend to stay around for longer, which IMO probably gives it more staying power with the real racing enthusiasts, rather than just the casual punting crowd.

So Robbie Dunne has been given a ban for bullying and exposing himself indecently in front of Bryony Frost. I just hope she wasn't frodon at the sight.

I live v close to Lambourn, I have some of my best friends who work in the racing industry, I know trainers, high profile past & present jockeys, stable staff, people who are male and female, people who are Irish, English and from further afield and the one thing i will say is that i have never heard a good word in all my years about this lady, genuinely not a single good word in fact the words used to describe her would be the opposite of good. I also heard rumours that she was not meant to be very nice to other female jockeys be that right or wrong but i would have heard that years ago.

He's supposed to be a bit of a play boy and a bit mad, never met him, I thought they'd ban him for the rest of the season. His defence was not good from what i read although i thought the case against him was flimsy too, relying on a tweet which was a dig about her interviews which i firmly agree with as i find them painful too, then evidence from an unnamed fence attendant being witness to an argument between the pair where he told her he'd put her through the wings of a fence. which never occurred and which sounded like the football equivalent of "hey you're getting in next time" and 9 times out of 10 nothing would happen. More serious for me was him seemingly exposing himself but that was in the men's changing room when she was in there. 12 months + feels very harsh in a case where there had to be some trial my media involved because the industry paper the Racing Post came out in her favour.
