The constant swapping of boots doesn't help either , last season he stuck to the Nike Tiempo's , this season he swapped to the Magista's and was constantly running the ball out with no first touch. He's now gone back to Tiempo's and the difference is there to see. People who say 'boots' don't make a difference are chatting bollocks.

Here we go again, another public warning for me. Coleman is overrated and over here. Beckanbaueresque Stones is really Brian from the Magic Roundabout and Lennon is not worth a carrot.
 

There was a moment today when he picked up the ball deep in his own half and ran the length of the pitch, won a corner and Michael Owen commented that "he wasn't really running with any conviction there". I think he was so majestic last season that people expect something out of the ordinary every time he picks the ball up. Great player.
