I didn't vote "Yes" because the poll only says
"Corruption at the top level of football."
Corruption is at every level of football.

No question, corrupt 100%. VAR is corrupt, no doubt, part of the betting syndicate, its been going on in Italy and other countries for years, coaches, players, managers CEO's have been jailed for their part. It would be naive to believe it wasn't happening here.
Personally I'm pleased City got off the hook as there is no such thing as financial fair play and City are doing what Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Madrid, Bayern etc..have done for years. If you look at the main spenders over the past 20+ seasons you wouldn't be suprised your who was there. Klopp and Mourinho are hypocrites for complaining about UEFA's decision to overturn the ban. I think City are spoiling the party for the 'big' names. They were absolutely robbed against Spurs last season. I heard some months ago that Daniel Levy has a seat at the UEFA table and has influence there, I expected the usual clubs to have a say but Spurs are hardly top draw are they.
Rick Parry (ex Liverpool) and David Gill (ex United) both have senior positions within UEFA.
Parry actually sits on the investigatory panel of club financial fair play cases and was involved in the decision
to ban City from Europe. It's a joke. It really is.

The fact that certain clubs have their own hugely influential organisation that basically sets the rules, and that they have seats at the uefa and PL table stinks to high heaven.

But I think they (and their fans) honestly would see this as all above board and legitimate because it is not hidden, so corruption Vs racketeering I think is a fine line. There is visible and blatant racketeering, no doubt and can't be denied, however is there genuine corruption (i.e. illegal payments to officials) in the English game?

I don't know but at the uefa and FIFA levels it has been proven. I think there is a huge amount of subconscious, or even conscious, bias from refs but find it hard to believe they are systematically deliberately rigging games. Then again who was it that likely benefits most from the goal line watch not working in the sheff utd first game back?

Corrupt to the point the only aspects of football I bother with these days is this place and Chico's twitter feed.

Not watched a second of football since the restart. Not missed it at all. That's mainly due to the money and as others have said the scripting of it.

As fun as the Wigan match was,if it happened in Italt or Eastern Europe everybody would be calling it match fixing
