I think the model of FFP shows just how corrupt UEFA are. This was a protectionist move designed to eradicate competition. How is it fair that a club like Man United who have debts of nearly half a billion pounds are a model club for FFP whilst City are not?

Chelsea are now a club who love FFP but got exactly where they are today because they invested heavily at a time when nobody else could. Just because they can't compete with City in the market they want them thrown out of Europe.

A salary cap would surely be a better financial and sporting decision, but the big clubs will never agree to that of course. Despite having a gargantuan wage bill, it only takes up about 40% of Manchester United's revenue. Whereas Everton, who's wage bill in comparison is puny lose about 85% of our revenue on wages.

We are just not operating in the same sport as these clubs. It's why I'd welcome a European Super League. Seeing Liverpool play United bugger off and play nothing games in Monaco watched by millionaires and special interests whilst the rest of us could just crack on here would be the dream.

I remember being pleased when I heard the score was a 3-2 win but when I saw the goals it was time I realised it happens. The Wimbledon goalkeeper letting in the very soft late goal against Everton and the ref giving a non penalty to Everton to stop relegation.
Like watching liverpool this season

Dont think you watched the whole game mate to be fair, Dean Holdsworth missed 3 open goals 2 when it was 2-0 the Wimbledon, I think he was paid off, not Segars.

I would have been at a Spurs game that day so I wouldn't have seen the whole game and have only seen the highlights and admit that after posting I went on to YouTube to see if my recollection of the game was correct?
Everton definitely got a penalty after a awful no contact Limpar dive and after trying to let one in a bit earlier, Segars did seem to make little effort to save the late winner so it could have been just a few players in on it?

All water under the bridge now but unlike many on here, it isn't just the biggest clubs who get things that "go their way."
