How do fans protest?

May have been asked, but what was the reaction like yesterday?
I wasn't there mate, but from what I could tell, when our second went in, and the camera panned to the away fans, they looked so happy, like little children opening presents on Xmas morning...

Then when Villa banged in their third for the winner, once again the camera panned to us, I could literally feel the utter soul crushing disappointment. 🤦‍♂️

It's a vicious circle. Booing will make it worse. Dead silence won't exactly encourage these deadbeats to play better. Stay away is hardly an option for the majority who have bought season tickets. Street demos are fine for the hooligans but not for most fans. We are goosed.
Support the team and hope for the best - try to make players play above themselves rather than shadows of themselves. Supporting a club comes with no guarantees. 🤷‍♂️

Fatigue tends to set in during the 4th season of constant relegation battles. It happened with Sunderland, happened with Villa, fans just gave up in the end and stopped going. Grounds were half empty and both of them went down with about 20 points in the end. I wonder if we can muster up another season of fight to be honest.
It’s the final season at Goodison, the stadium will be full every home game. The away games will always be sold out. There won’t be any problems filling the ground this season.

Don’t see the point of a protest.
Mishiri has got the the message already and wants out.
The Board is temporary and absolutely rudderless and will mostly be replaced by any new owner.
Dyche has been been doing great despite both hands and feet being tied by the situation.
Yes results have been terrible, but what little of a defence he has to work with all seem to be carrying knocks or are too old and we can’t afford to replace them. Just getting Branthwaite back would help massively, but there is no indication when that might happen. Yes, there is O’Brien, but he is obviously an investment and not up to speed yet, so what is the point of crushing his confidence for a marginal short term gain (Keane SHOULD be doing better, he has shown in the past he is capable).

It’s all a mess, but none of it is going to get sorted until we have an owner and a board that are functional and have any enthusiasm to sort out our problems. Changing the manager would do nothing to help, it would be a Kenwright move and only divert attention and take the pressure off the board.

The best that can be done is another public expression of our solidarity with the team and manager. They are the ones at the sharp end of trying to keep us up with no help from above.

If the form continues much longer after the change of owner, then would be the time to protest.

And that is EXACTLY the problem.

Mediocrity is acceptable to the majority of the fanbase.

Dyche has been been doing great

… ummmm … what? When we are only the second team in history to do something so bad it’s not going to work to play the “under the circumstances” card. Over all the decades there have been lots of circumstances. He’s still accomplishing negative records at an almost unheard of rate. He’s bad compared with the entire history of the league. Not just this year and these circumstances. Astonishing comment. Just so insane. This is don’t look up territory with some of you. Get this disaster out of our club he’s poisoning people’s minds.
