If it was 28 that would be helpful. Make it so Burnley, Watford and Norwich.

I just can't believe we've given 3 points to all of those, could be safe by now.

If we had took 9 points off all 3 of those this season we would of been sitting a point behind Palace in 10th with a game in hand!
Moyes was the master of getting maximum points off the bottom 4-5 teams! Its always a good board to start with!

5 wins and 5 draws against the bottom 5 teams is 20 points!
7 wins, 3 draws against the bottom 5 teams is 24 points.

Its pretty much (bar a game or 2) got Arsenal, West Ham, Wolves & Spurs to were they are this season!
We find a way to motivate our gang of flannels against the worse teams in the league and we have a decent back board to work off next season!

I just don’t get this confidence that Burnley will pick up wins from their remaining fixtures because they’re ‘easy’.

For teams in our position in the table there are no ‘easy’ games. Every single one of those games will be difficult for Burnley to win. I’m not saying they won’t or can’t win some of them but I don’t know why people hold an expectation that they’ll be turning some mid table sides over at home with ease. They’ll struggle in every single game for points, so will we, that’s the reality, we have to go game by game.

7 points for us would mean safety I think but 9 would guarantee it.

I know it's a bit like trying to guess how many jelly beans are in a jar but I just can't see Burnley (or any of the other two below us) taking that many more points. Gut feeling is we need maybe 4-5 more. Honestly don't think it'll be much more than that.
