Sod it, let him finish his reign at Anfield away. We’re going to get battered away from home by currently the two best teams in the league, might as well get a new man in after that.

....the Board will understand the mitigation for Silva;

- no available replacements for Zouma and Gueye.
- long-term injuries to Gbamin and Gomes.
- ineffective CB partnerships.
- Kean failing to fire.
- other striker options largely ineffective.

Saying that, a top coach sets his team up to be difficult to beat. Silva still has sufficient quality at his disposal to accumulate sufficient points. Silva has excuses but his failings as a coach are being severely exposed.

If they cared about the club being succesful, he would have gone after Millwall, or at worst after Sheffield United.

The fact he's still here shows they are content with a relegation battle and don't have ambition to push towards European football.

What was deemed unacceptable under Koeman is now deemed acceptable. We need to accept that this club exists to survive and nothing more. Until there is a complete overhaul we won't improve.

I'm very disappointed we haven't changed the manager but I'm not at all surprised. We are a by word for failure and are an utter laughing stock.

Lot of credence in that thought.
Imagine any potential newcomer wanting the position and seeing they're the next couple of games.
They wouldn't want the humiliation of those 180 minutes on their record.
Rather a home fixture to welcome the new man.

Not as big as laughing stock as we would be if Moyes came in.
