I'm watching Sheffield Utd play at the moment, they close the opposition down, pass accurately, make space for the forwards plus defend in depth. Each player is working to instructions and carrying them out to the letter. Basically they are doing everything we don't.
This is the way good sides play. With a manager who either doesn't know how it's done or ignores those basic rules it doesn't bode well, it doesn't matter how good or expensive your players are without the fundamentals they'll get beaten.
It's my opinion Silva us clueless regarding these basic values, on the few occasions the team have shown them has resulted from crowd inspiration and nothing more. Yesterday Silva stood there like a lost soul wondering what the hell was going on.
He should be sacked, delaying matters is a stain of guilt from the upper echelons of our club.
Some idiot has suggested Mark Hughes to take over, if he ever became manager of my beloved Everton that would finish me for good with this club and I'll have wasted 65 years of my life upholding the great traditions we've stood for.
As for Silva his tenure in the Prem should be ended, the guy is just not good enough. To delay now is merely a stay of execution as we won't go forward under his aimless leadership.
