.....I can't lie in. I'm retired and I'm still up and about at 6am every day, even on holiday or a late night drinking. It's just the way I am. I've never used an alarm clock, if I have to get up at 3am for a flight I just get up.

6-7 hours . Anything over 8 and I'm a groggy mess til the afternoon .

Last year I had headaches non stop for 3 months and I never had more than 2 straight hours of kip . Ended up cracking up and ended up in fazak for a few nights My body just broke down .

Sleeping better than ever now though .
 

I usually need between 7 and 8 hours, get really grumpy otherwise. Sometimes it can take me hours to get to sleep, seem to get less in the summer when it's light so early though.
 
I would like 8. Rarely get it. Usually somewhere between 7 and 7.5 even if the intention was 8. At times during the day I usually feel like a zombie no matter what I get.
 
I can function on 4 usually get 6 give or take. I'm a night owl type I can't sleep before midnight no matter how early I have to be up in the morning.
 
12 is perfect but can only do that weekends, during the week ideally i need 9-10 but only manage to get about 8 if i'm lucky, any less than that for 1 night and i'm absolutely knackered for the rest of the week.
