How stupid are Manu?

That's what the FA did a few seasons ago LL, and then the usual suspects reverted back to it and nothing happened. Tokenism doesn't work, what football needs is the rules to always be enforced consistently imo :)
Some of our own players can be equally guilty but like diving it is something I'd really prefer wasn't in the game.

Wish the refs would just decide one weekend to really clamp down on it, dish the cards for a couple of weeks and we'd see a reduction in it.

This kind of sounds like a bunch of BS. They know Jose wanted that jerb ever since Ferguson retired. There could be a couple of execs there who want no part of him and planted this.
Jose s agent already came out and said its nonsense.

Yet he got the same results, not spending a quadrillion pounds.

Yeah, because that's what Martinez has spent - a quadrillion pounds. As things stand he has a net spend of £35M for three seasons. A pretty small amount per season given the hike in tv revenue enjoyed by all clubs (and spent by all clubs).

BTW, Moyes was not starved of cash. Check the transfer records. His first 7 seasons in charge of this club he endured only one negative net spend season. In those first 7 seasons he had a net spend of £38M...and that's when cash was thin on the ground for most clubs outside the top four. Only after 2009 did the negative net spends become a feature of his tenure here, when he put up with a firesale of players. Even then it wasn't enough to wipe out a net spend for the whole of his time here of £16M.

It's a myth that Moyes had it tough and Martinez has enjoyed riches beyond what Moyes had.

Turns out LVG wasn't cut out for the Prem, methinks.
He's been there one full season and got them CL football again. They're still handily placed to get it this season.
Moyes took the English Champions (champions by 11 clear points) and drove them over a cliff. Everything that followed from that epic disaster season Moyes was responsible for has been about gaining lost ground.

The shirt pulling by Smalling on Van Dijk was nothing short of outrageous.
Not once, not twice but at least three times and that was just in the MOTD lowlights... how many more times were there and how can that ref not see any of them ???

How thick is Smalling?

The ref at the Barcodes gave a penno against him for doing that very thing a couple weeks ago.

He was lucky to get away with it again yesterday.

Thought this morning would be the time they would get shut of LVG. While a new or caretaker boss can do things in the window. Some of their fans will think they are waiting for Guardiola in the summer. They are well stupid.

They are free wheeling until the Summer when their preferred candidate is available (it won't be Pep, he's off to City)
If they are to get rid of LVG now Giggs would be Caretaker for the rest of the season with Fergie overseeing things and giving him pointers. I suppose from ManU's point of view there's not much point changing things around for a 3 months, stability is what they want not a revolving door for Managers each with their own ideas.

That's a very pasisonate defence, but duals was clearly comparing moyes to van gaal and not martinez so it's a little misplaced.

But I'm glad to see you praise the way kenwright backed his managed for the first 7 seasons. Great blue, bill.

It'll be Mourinho.

Look at social media numbers. They're falling miles behind Barcelona and Madrid and that will terrify the money men.

They'll see Mou as some sort of guarantee of a quick fix.

All the self regarding bulldust about "The United way" and all that guff will go straight out the window when the big sponsors get on the blower to tell them to shape up pronto and that has been happening publicly never mind privately.

Funny because "wrong un"? I thought of x-ray first when I saw his name... lol

Thomas Rongen, the man who cost the US national team Neven Subotic and was last seen getting sacked after a whopping 8 months in charge of an American second-division club?

That Thomas Rongen?

Ha.
