This isn't a football specific phenomenon but it's crazy how people will think doing the things all the good teams moved on from in a sport is better and that everyone else just overthought it.

Recall the loan players and ship out some of the dross. Play a much more direct style with 2 strikers, one of which isn’t Maupay. Spend a lot more time on shooting in training. Abandon playing wingers, as we don’t have any good ones. Stop selling players such as Lookman, while keeping the likes of Walcott. Start selling players such as Mina, even if we raise very little. We have and have had way too many players on big £, who wouldn’t get the same anywhere else. We are seemingly skint, so why not try the likes of Dobbin, Branthwaite and Nkonku, then we might have a bit more chance to bring in quality alongside the youngsters. Don’t sign players over 30 on more than a one or 2 year deal. Build for the future, while trying to just survive in the short term. And fire Kenwright to the moon!

I think we need to play a settled formation and way of playing. I would play 532 with the ball and drop to a 541 without the ball. We need to be hard to beat and we seem too exposed playing 451.

The only other possibility is to go back to Carlos 442, where we played 4 CB’s who very rarely moved from the edge of our own box

I don't think you can. The quality isn't there. I'm sure most of them are trying their best, but if you put a Championship squad in the Premier League then, more likely than not, its going to finish very close to the bottom.

Thats not true. You could say that loads of players are [Poor language removed] and have no quality and then they improve massively under a new manager. Im sorry but its time for a change.
Look at Marcus Rashford or Gashford (and lots of others on that squad) as he was called last season. All Manure fans moaning that hes crap and needs selling, well now look at him under Ten Hag. Lampard is not good enough, he needs to serve his apprenticeship at a different team.

Sack Frank and his entourage and go and get Moyes back. Unpopular choice, however, he knows the club and the fans, is experienced and will definitely get more out of this squad than the current manager. If nothing else he will get them playing for the shirt. The squad is better than it’s position, just needs a decent captain at the helm and I’m confident we will finish mid table
