That's what we say but for the sake of accuracy they broke into and charged the fans in the Juventus section, got the Juventus fans killed by causing a wall to collapse and blamed everyone and anyone but themselves for the tragedy.

The Heysel monument at anfield doesn't even have the names of the 39 victims on it. I find that to be very telling indeed.

What pees me off, a lot of their fans dont even know about Heysel and what happened but they know everything you need to know about Hillsborough. (This is not in anyway showing disregard to Hillsborough on my part)

Anything just to break the almost 30 year drought. Even the likes of Middlesbrough and Birmingham City have won trophies more recently than us!

Just thank god we aren't Sheffield Wednesday. We would've had a similar last 25 years to them if we got relegated in the 90's imo.

Despite being crap for most of my lifetime, we've still somehow managed to remain a top flight club thankfully.

Yours truly arrived on the scene a couple of months after the 84 final. That Villa defeat was more heartbreaking i think.

It meant no trophy for that wonderful late 70's team under Gordon Lee.
