I think Timmys amazing performances are getting less & less frequent and he does let in some weird goals. But unless we've unearthed the next big nev then we've def got other priorities (midfield)

You're loving the anti-Howardness!

It's like when everyone finally came around to Daveck's way of thinking re: the board.

Not really I'd prefer him to prove me wrong mate, I don't think he will, but I'd prefer to be wrong then what I felt at 10.00pm Monday!

Was ever only one period I thought he would come good Feb - May the year we got to the cup final, unfortunately he never repeated that level of performance!

*ps Adam is ace.

Please sign any negative reputation so we can discuss it, haha.

Anyway - Howard has been poor, and there is a certain favoritism on the forum coming from the Yankee fans.

We need to either drop him for a few games or replace him completely if he carries on making mistakes.

I couldn't care any less what he does for America, he could score an amazing goal leading from a 90 yard run for USA and then save 15 penalties.

It's Everton I care about, and for us he's been appalling.

I think the problem with Tim is that hes become inconsistent and hesitant. Positionally hes often wrongfooted and looks very awkward. Its a pity this hasnt been noticed and taken on board at Finch Farm because hes a good stopper and generally acknowledged as a good goalie

Poor performances, not, committing to us or refusing to play when still under contract to do so.

Good one.

'Body of work' brrp.

But a lot don't admit that he's under-performed for quite some time.

I didn't say he wasn't good enough for Everton.

If his performances improve then I'll have no qualms about that.

Just an aside, but that was debunked a few days later when the Fulham manager said "well he didn't exactly refuse to play, it was just an awkward situation."

Howard hasn't been great recently, though the 1v1 I thought was more of a surprising finish then him playing it particularly badly.

Carry on with the opposite side of the pond ranting.

At the time this was what was being reported and yet some people defended him still.

The 1v1 was shocking let's be honest.

Whatever mate.

was that the pea-roller from an angled 20yarder or the one where Ba tapped it with his shin?

Nothing surprising about it really. Howard jumped up, Ba hit it under him. He made it as easy as possible in my eyes.

Yes, clearly Howard was right to leap into the air with Ba 3 yards away. He was definitely going to attempt the world's shortest lob.

Some of you Americans do yourselves no favours, you know!
