It's worth saying that just before the team "clicked" Kendall was in serious danger of being sacked, he was getting grief from the fans, someone even painted his garage door with Kendall out.
We were sh1te until late on in 84 and then all of a sudden we were magic.
I live in hope that something will happen with this lot.

Just watched it with my lad, brought a lump to the throat, very well put together, so many memories! Will never forget the Bayern game as long as I live.

All the guys came across brilliant they had a blast being the BEST team in Europe and so did we!

The way we’re going they’ll all be dead by the time we win it again.

Although saying that... I do see comparisons with what’s happening now to what happened in Kendal’s early years... I’m hoping we can make the league cup final which can be the start of a fruitful few year’s ahead.

Can Silva really emulate Kendall... not on his own... maybe he needs to promote Unsworth like Kendall did with Harvey.
