Doucoure is misery guts ... Had a few kids from the box calling Gray, Mina and Gomes on the sideline who all responded with a wave... Doucoure just blanked them all. Put him on the transfer list....

Keane was atrocious. A Prem side puts 4 or 5 past us today. He was completely lost in the middle of the back three. His positioning was terrible and it helped lead to our midfield looking shambolic. Holgate still can’t track a runner. Thought Branthwaite was solid. There’s a player in there. I hope he’s not moved on.

Kennyis what he is. Not comfortable going forward. Good defender. Hasn’t improved in three years. Nkonkou is fun. Are we sure he’s a defender?

Kean looked really dangerous playing off the back shoulder of their defenders the first 25-30 minutes? After that, Huddersfield took control of the midfield and the chances disappeared. Stupid red. Don’t love the ball but play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Feel like he would thrive playing minutes with Digne.

Iwobi loves Cup games against lower division sides. Happy for Gbamin. Showed flashes in possession. Needs game time somewhere. Davies plays to his competition. And having Keane behind him did him no favors.

Holgate can't time his jump and hardly gets off the ground, shocking player, get rid.

…we were thankful for Russian linesman in ‘66 and thankful for a Huddersfield linesman in 2021.

i think we found a bit out about the fringe players, Begovic looks an able back-up, Nkounkou is promising going forward (great run for the Kean disallowed goal), but we looked defensively weak down his side with Branthwaite also vulnerable.

Fine finish from Kean, but he is a complete liability. His reaction to a nothing clash when we were breaking was petulant and indefensible.

2nd level strikers slaloming past Holgate lunges whilst Keane continues his poor form, Kenny is just ordinary and we were alarmingly vulnerable at the back. Gbamin way off the pace, Davies (terrific setting up Iwobi goal) was fine but the omens were bad when Benitez gave him the hook.

Gulf in quality was clear when Digne came on, I thought him and Gomes made a difference. Winning goal was the highlight as it was very well worked. I’m going for Iwobi as MoM, scored a decent goal and was involved in most of the positive parts of the game.

Kean a dope, Keane dopey but we’re through.

Just watched the extended highlights - I'm really not taking football seriously any more - I can't for the life of me see why Huddersfield 's goal was disallowed and if that's a red for Kean, hell if that's a yellow even, I don't see the point of watching.

I hate how VAR is handled but that game was proof it's something to keep and try perfect. Shocking decisions and infuriating they can't change thier kind when they probably know themselves they fd up.

Both had good goals ruled out so evens up, soft red as you will see though. Started well, looked like we were going to cruise and then fell apart and let them dominate until they levelled.
