Listen if it will help I have decided to think like this for the New Year mainly to avoid being depressed ...we have been consistent over the past 11 years with us as fans going into games knowing we will give anyone a game and we are now going through a patch of bad form...it happens to all teams less so those with huge wallets to quickly fix things.

We need to:

Fire Kone + Alcaraz + Robles + Distin (I am not sure about Lukaku..he seems out of his depth and not worth 10m right now) and replace these with hungry starving quality players who will give everything and then some to getting us back to winning ways..maybe replace them with Spanish players who understand the Martinez way.

Give Martinez one more season + money to spend in the transfer window...Moyes did have a few problem seasons so maybe he needs time but he needs to keep away from the defence ..so his system can be put in effect from the middle upwards and tell the defence to remember the Moyes way.

4 of those players you mention were brought to the club by Martinez. What makes you think other players he brings to the club would be any different.
