I actually agree mate.

But I do have a question. I think we had a chat a while ago about how Javier Hernandez isn't right for the way we play.

But now neither is Lukaku. Very different player to Hernandez.

What type of striker does fit the way we play??

Honest question as I have no idea anymore.

Somebody like Zlatan? Who can score, assist, create his own chances, play on his own effectively with a great first touch and hold it up well.

Not much to ask really.

I got absolutely slaughtered for saying exactly this when we got him - it was evident he wasn't being used right last season after the initial run until Christmas, and I had grave concerns about £20m+ on a player who didn't suit the way we had set up to play, under a manager who refuses to change how he sets up to play.

And I do like him. I've said many times he's going to be a world class slotter if players in teams who are more direct and let him run off the shoulder of defenders. But he's never, ever going to be able to do that here under Martinez.

In fact, if Martinez is sacked this month if we lose to WBA and Hull today, Lukaku is the one reason I know we'll stay up, because anyone coming in would use him in a direct game and he'll probably bag a goal every 1.5 games or something to daft in that system.

Which begs the question why are we persisting with martinez?

Kone is to be honest. Holds the ball up very well -- arguably the main task -- and is very comfortable running the channels and cutting in from wide positions.

Maybe the lad needs to learn to shut his grid and let his football do the talking.

If I was Martinez I'd have dropped him too. A kid you give an opportunity to tries to be a smart arse in the media about your team talk. Well in Roberto. Put him out on loan if need be.

No player can start those tricks with a manager.

Actually forgot about that interview, could very well be the reason he was dropped.

Bony. I don't think he's a better slotter than Lukaku or even near the same class, but as a more rounded footballer he's far superior.

Benteke if he was fit too. You don't want a Heskey who is the complete opposite of Lukaku, but you want someone who is in the middle of the two extremes. Premier League football suits the Jack of all Trades striker, like Dzeko, and even the clinical strikers like Aguero and Suarez also have the ability to drop deep and link.

We're screwed!
