Yes. This thread (not that I've read more than a minimal amount) has been getting on my nerves for days. I've never heard of this, 'Hummel' stuff. Is it something that you eat, like houmous? Is it something you do, like 'pummel'? Is it something that German soldiers used to say in 1950s/60s comics, like "Gott in himmel!"? Whatever it is, can we please stop talking about it? Feeling very confused.com.

They are a pretty famous brand. But in the bottom tier of kit makers being brutally honest. Not as bad as Lonsdale or era but in the league above with kappa.

If they are offering the most money though we don't really have a choice.

Discussions about the kit always bring the same guff. “I don’t care what it looks like” “grown men caring about a kit” “who’s arsed”.

If the majority opinion on them was positive these things wouldn’t be said or pushed , I suspect. I don’t see the issue in wanting smart kits for the club.

Not for me. Sondico is owned by Sports Direct. While Rucanor is an upgrade on Nike, I still wouldn't touch it.

I'm not opposed to Hummel making our kit. I'm all for a change, if they turn out to be rubbish we'll move on in a couple of years.

Kits don't change that much year to year anymore. Most sides home strip are almost identical to another team's other than the club badge and maybe colour.

It would be nice to think they would see our partnership as a big deal and treat us well, as we both higher our profile's in the years to come.

If the sponsorship deal comes with a decent Danish player (fingers crossed for Eriksen) to break into the English market then I'd be all over that. It'd be like when we got Li Tie in the box of Frosties.

I wonder if because Hummel are so bad, like Lonsdale and Diadora levels of bad, that they’re going to pay us a fee greater than market value because they want to get a Top 8 Premier League club on their list of clients?

It certainly seems plausible given our latest clever ways of getting around FFP.
